About Rachel
I’m the founder of Crux Psychotherapy, a Milton, Ontario-based Registered Psychotherapist offering faith‑sensitive, trauma‑aware counselling for midlife women (30s–50s), couples, parents, and trauma survivors. I specialize in trauma recovery, couples communication, and parenting frustrations, using Emotion‑Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to reduce anxiety, heal PTSD symptoms, and improve relationship connection. My approach is biopsychosocial‑spiritual and culturally sensitive—shaped by international upbringing and Spanish language ability—so clients receive tailored, evidence‑informed care in a safe, nonjudgmental space, in‑person in Milton, Ontario or via secure online sessions.
I believe every person has purpose, and life’s challenges can make that purpose feel out of reach. I work collaboratively to understand how symptoms have disrupted your life, identify what has helped you cope, and build practical skills and new ways of interacting with frustration and conflict. As a Christian clinician I follow the client’s lead on faith integration, offering faith‑affirming support when requested.
